On 12 May 2019, the 1st Dolder Classics of the current year took place on the Dolder ice rink in Zurich. The temperatures for the season were rather modest and the morning view of the weather map showed that a rain jacket and umbrella were quite appropriate. These are always prerequisites that do not necessarily lead one to expect a large crowd of participants. In addition, on this May 12th numerous other events took place and Mother's Day was also Mother's Day. This would actually be a good opportunity for a ride in a vintage car....... more
